Armin Linke: Prospecting Ocean

Prospecting Ocean by the photographer and artist Armin Linke investigates the technical and political bodies exploring and studying the ocean floor—and in turns exploiting and protecting it—which are often hidden from public view. The result of three years of research, the exhibition includes interviews of scientists, policy-makers, and activists, as well as footage taken by deep-sea robots and behind-the-scenes images of the United Nations, international legal conferences, and marine research centres, in order to explain the complex dynamics of how information and research is used by competing scientific, legal, economic and community interests.

D.H.office was responsible for the defining and maintaining the project's budget, finding the location and mediating the rental contract, staffing the exhibition attendants, and producing programming during the exhibition.
