Fundaziun Not Vital: Schloss Tarasp
Tarasp, Switzerland, 2015
Schloss Tarasp is a museum and exhibition space founded by Not Vital, and is one of three properties located in the lower Engadine Valley that make up the Swiss artist's eponymous foundation. Open to the public, Tarasp houses Vital's private collection of antiques and modern and contemporary art, while also hosting regular temporary exhibitions.
David Hrankovic assisted Vital with the acquisition and financing of the castle and developed a business plan and operational strategy to create a non-profit cultural institution dedicated to contemporary art in the valley. While supporting several artistic interventions in the surrounding grounds, Hrankovic also served for many years on the board of the Fundaziun Not Vital.
As a long-term collaborator with Vital, D.H.office's role in developing the Schloss Tarasp project is indicative of a commitment to not only provide strategic consulting advice but to execute those directives as well.
