Vuslat: Silence

Presenting her work publicly for the first time, Silence is an exhibition curated by Chus Martínez of work by the Turkish artist Vuslat that explores non-verbal relationships between space and bodies, through a series of organic forms sculpted out of stone. Rendering marble into surreal, dreamlike shapes, Vuslat conjures the subconscious, prompting unexpected connections with the viewer.

D.H.office oversaw the production of the exhibition, coordinating logistics and art handling, as well as exhibition design and fabrication of plinths for the installation. The plinths for the monumental marble works were carefully engineered to securely support the forms while lending them a visual weightlessness.
