Metagoon: Chronicles of Future Geographies is an exhibition as well as a workshop of encounters, stories and drawings dealing with future visions of the Venice lagoon that takes the form of a physical development space for the Metagoon platform, an online archive of videos conceived in 2015 by Matteo Stocco.

Conceived and realized by Matteo Stocco and Alice Ongaro Sartori with a program of encounters with the theme based on maps, Metagoon's space endeavors to stimulate diverse perspectives on the future of the lagoon, fostering the imagination and the reconfiguration of its geographical landscape. The discussions range from historical cartography to science fiction maps, encompassing bathygraphy, bathymetry, unrealized urban projects, and yet-to-be-constructed utopian visions

The exhibition is a collaboration between Metagoon and D.H.office.
